Job Description

We are seeking a Public Relations and Marketing Manager to nurture a strong industry network, increase awareness and develop an enviable corporate image by developing and executing effective communication and media relations programs.


Job Responsibilities & Duties

  • Identify research needs, execute research studies and projects, and analyze research in order to identify opportunities

  • Develop a marketing communications plan including strategy, goals, budget and tactics

  • Develop media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media

  • Create, execute, and manage marketing programs and campaigns

  • Handle social media platforms to engage audiences across traditional and new media

  • Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media

  • Create content for press releases, byline articles and keynote presentations

  • Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising on an on-going basis.

  • Define and manage the brand communication strategy using a variety of media

  • Own the development and messaging of the brand narrative

  • Coordinate all public relations activities

  • Manage media inquiries and interview requests

  • Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results on a quarterly basis

  • Build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness


Requirements and Academic qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field. MBA preferred.

  • 2-5 years of experience in PR, brand management, brand marketing, or marketing management

  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally

  • Experience managing a brand across multiple markets

  • Creative thinker and problem solver

  • Strong communication skills

  • Great verbal and writing skills

  • Project management experience, with a solid understanding of project management principles and techniques

  • Strategic thinker able to identify long-term opportunities and trends
